Pop Diva

I think we all know that when a child reaches the toddler age, diva-like behaviors begin.

Maile is no exception.

In fact, I think she is beginning to think she is a pop star.

Maile spends a lot of her time dancing, shaking her booty, and trying to feel any rhythm she might feel in her little bones. However, she is now trying to incorporate lipsynching into her routine.

Why wouldn't she, right? I mean, no one else really sings when they are performing. It is a sight to see Maile request a song, and then start bobbing her head around, letting her eyes dance, and opening her mouth to the words.

This was all clearly evident at the Colorado 14ers game last night, when Maile would hear music and just start dancing on the floor. We were talking to some Nuggets staff members who were at the game and Maile was just jamming to whatever music she heard. Many eyes were watching her. This would've been a good time to tell her to take a bow, which she undoubtedly would have.

Maile is now also trying to add the ukelele to her repertoire, as she tries to play her "guitar" and sing along. If there's no music playing, she'll sing. If there is, she'll lipsynch. Just like any true professional.

Once this girl learns to find a key or at least fake that she has found a key, she can really be dangerous.

Somewhere in China, a girl mouthing the national anthem in the Olympics is fearing for her job, knowing that a lipsynching Maile with her booty-shaking ukelele is looming.
